Thank you to every single one of our partners!
We have always benefited by creative and impactful support from funders that recognise the
synergies between our work and their ambition to tackle social inequity or to support more
effective use of resources and the circular economy.
Trusts and Foundations: shared aims
The funding we received from 57 Trusts and Foundations this year turned our shared vision
into real-world results, giving us the ability to plan and scale, and drive lasting, meaningful
change across our communities. Their advocacy helps to build our reach whilst their genuine
interest in our cause supports deeper engagement with our beneficiaries and an ability to
commit long-term. We’re incredibly grateful to every single one of them.
Particular thanks to the following that were in a position to donate £10k or more this year:
Angus Lawson Memorial Trust; Brit Insurance; City & Metropolitan Welfare Charity; Dilkes
Family Foundation; Heathrow Community Foundation; Klein Family Foundation; Julia
Rausing Trust; MAPP Charitable Foundation; NPower Business Solutions Foundation;
ShahCircle Foundation; Stratton Chase Foundation; The Barratt Foundation; The Prism
Charitable HK Family Trust; The Childhood Trust; The Worshipful Company of International
Bankers; WWMT
Corporate Partnerships: hands, voice, funding
We are incredibly grateful to the hundreds of companies that have chosen to give their time,
collect books for us or fund us this year, making it possible for us to pilot new initiatives,
resource efficiently and collect deeper insights around the impact of their support.
Strategic Partner
Literacy Capital plc is an investment trust listed on the London Stock
Exchange which, uniquely for an investment fund of its type, has been set
up with a charitable objective. 0.5% of its net assets are donated every year
in cash to literacy charities across the UK: more than £11.2 million since
2017.
Literacy Capital’s multi year commitment to our core costs is integral to our
ability to gift 1m books this year to children, allowing them to identify as
readers, develop early literacy skills and engage with reading for pleasure.
